| If you've
spent any time at all in our waiting room or at our front
counter, you've probably met M&M, our mascot. He has held
that position for several years now since his previous owner passed
away while M&M was undergoing treatment with us. He had nowhere
else to go, so.... the rest, as the saying goes, is history.
To answer the most common question
about M&M: no he is not a pregnant
female! He just has a little weight issue and that is finally
starting to come under control, thank you very much.
The next
most common question about M&M is, "what is wrong with
his ear?" The answer is a cautionary tale about ear mites -
he had such a severe chronic case causing so much damage that he
ultimately had to have his entire left ear canal surgically
removed by specialists at the veterinary college in Saskatoon.
He is doing well now and has no trouble whatsoever being able to
hear a bag of treats being opened.
