- There must be a valid doctor-patient relationship, which generally means that we need to have performed a physical examination of your pet within the last twelve months.
- It must be a condition for which a tentative diagnosis is possible via video chat. When you call to set up the telemedicine appointment, our staff will help you decide whether this is likely to be the case or not.
If you would like to book this service, please call and you will be given an appointment time and instructions. It's very simple, even for non-techie people! We are using the free Zoom (https://zoom.us/) program, which is available for most mobile, laptop and desktop devices.
Telemedicine consults are at a $50 charge. If the veterinarian determines that a physical examination is needed after all, the charge will be credited towards that exam.
