Special Northern Services

Welcome, residents of Nunavut, northern Manitoba and northwestern Ontario!

For residents of these regions where veterinary services are sometimes difficult (or impossible) to access, Birchwood Animal Hospital offers the following services:

• Free e-mail consultations.

• Prescriptions and some vaccines by mail or through local pharmacy for registered patients*.

• Transport of pets to and from Winnipeg International Airport can be arranged through a local pet taxi service.  Call us for details.

  *federal prescription drug laws require that a valid doctor-patient relationship be in place.
